" It's harder to give up than push harder" This quote is running through my head. I heard this today when I was reading someone Else's blog. I have had my ups and downs with training.
A couple days ago I was standing on the side line of a flag football game at college. I was standing there in the cold just thinking and hoping I could play college ball. I just stood there talking to my friend about football, and watched the game go on.
Yesterday, I was outside with one of my good friends running routes and plays. He said you have to sprint every time you see the ball. I said "Yeah Right." He said if you want to play college football you have to keep your speed up, and then he threw it and I blasted off. He told me that I should have been a wide out or a receiver because I have hands and can catch a football. I said yeah that would have been sweet to be a wide out, but I'm 5'8 and too short. "He laughed." He told me to run a streak. Blue eighteen down set hut. I bolted down my yard and then he whipped it. I caught over my shoulder and ran it into my touchdown area. Running these plays and routes makes the training come clearer to me.

You've got lots of interesting ideas here--I'd like, though, to hear more about that opening quote and how you'd apply it to your training. How is is harder to give up than train harder? I would think that giving up would be super easy. Much harder, it seems, would be keeping your focus on training and on your ultimate goal.

The quote is saying It is harderd to give up something you love. It's like I love football too much just to walk away and if I walk away it would be really hard to live with out it. Giving up the training would be easy but giving up the love of the game wouldn't be easy.
